Job Summary

As a Signaling Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and operational safety of railway infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing adjustment and functional checks on signal circuits, point machines (switch drives), and track vacancy detection systems. You will also be responsible for inspecting switch lighting and the lighting technology used in main and auxiliary signals. Furthermore, you will handle the monitoring and parameterization of level crossing systems and conduct essential maintenance and repair work on control and safety technology components. This position is ideal for qualified electricians who enjoy technical troubleshooting and working on large-scale infrastructure. The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive hourly wage starting at €17.65, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electrical Installer, Industrial Electrician, or a comparable qualification. Qualification as a Signal Mechanic (Signalwerker) is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the electrotechnical field is preferred
  • Experience in adjustment and functional testing of signaling equipment
  • Previous experience with railway control and safety components is advantageous
