Job Summary

As an Enterprise Architect within the CIO division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the digital future-readiness of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Your day-to-day responsibilities involve company-wide enterprise architecture planning specifically for the Finance and Asset Management sectors. You will be tasked with collecting, evaluating, and managing stakeholder requirements to create strategic target architectures and implementation roadmaps. This role is unique as it allows you to modernize one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, contributing directly to national security. You will optimize existing architectures, introduce new solutions, and collaborate within cross-functional agile teams. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT-related degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable STEM course of study, or an equivalent completed vocational training.

Experience

  • At least 4 years of professional experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect
  • Proven experience in implementing strategic measures and requirements management
  • Experience in stakeholder communication and collaboration
  • Practical experience using standard Enterprise Architecture tools such as Sparx, LeanIX, or Alfabet
  • Initial experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams
