Job Summary
As an FTI Component Engineer for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of Flight Test Instrumentation systems. Your daily responsibilities will include building and maintaining a database for FTI drawing files, evaluating new design and drawing tools, and supporting hardware development using tools like EAGLE or Altium. Additionally, you will contribute to functional testing and FPGA software development, specifically focusing on IP Cores and serial interfaces. This position is ideal for an electrical engineer with a background in aerospace who enjoys a mix of hardware design, software integration, and data management. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or electronics
- Professional experience within the aerospace industry
- Practical experience with FPGA (VHDL) and circuit development/PCB routing
- Experience with Flight Test Instrumentation technologies and processes
- Experience in hardware development using EAGLE and/or Altium
