Job Summary
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to join the City of Bochum's HR Management, IT, and Organization department during a major digital transformation. You will play a pivotal role in an ongoing SAP HCM implementation project, moving from requirement gathering and qualification to testing, training, and the final go-live. Beyond the initial setup, you will design future operating models and manage the interface between the city administration and external service providers. The position involves continuous HR process optimization, technical analysis, and system development. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration. Alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT Systems Clerk, or similar IT-related discipline.
Experience
- Several years of practical professional experience in the SAP HCM field
- Significant experience participating in SAP HCM implementation projects, ideally within a municipal or public sector environment
- Experience in gathering, evaluating, and qualifying technical and functional requirements
- Experience in process analysis and conceptual design of HR workflows
- At least one year of IT-specific professional experience if applying with a vocational qualification

Additional
- SAP HCM Certification is highly preferred. For civil servants, eligibility for Career Group 2, 1st entry level of the general administrative service is required. Must be able to work independently with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
