Job Summary
As an Electrical Master or Technician for the Southern Germany region, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining RWE’s expanding battery storage power plant portfolio. Acting as the right hand to the regional team lead, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of decentralized storage systems. Your day-to-day work involves a blend of strategic planning and hands-on technical execution, including the coordination of maintenance schedules, spare parts management, and partner company oversight. You will implement maintenance plans in SAP, manage work release procedures, and perform switching operations in medium-voltage environments. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working both in the field with service technicians and strategically with engineers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering followed by further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant technical field
- Professional experience in maintenance processing using SAP
- Experience in power electronics, network technology, and PLC systems
- Experience in medium-voltage switching and working under tension
- Experience in coordinating external partner companies and material disposition
Languages
Additional
- Must be willing to participate in on-call shifts. High willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally within Europe during the initial 8-month induction phase. Valid permits for operating industrial trucks, lifting platforms, and hoisting gear are required.
