Job Summary

This role is a critical position within TenneT’s 'Operate System & Markets' unit, where you will be responsible for the real-time control and monitoring of the high-voltage transmission grid. Working in a shift rotation, you will ensure grid stability and security of supply in coordination with international European transmission system operators (ENTSO-E). Your daily tasks include identifying corrective measures during grid disturbances, contributing to the design of future curative grid management, and conducting internal technical training. This position is unique because it places you at the heart of the energy transition, managing complex power systems while participating in national and international technical working groups. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Uni/FH) in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, with a focus on electrical power grids or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in grid and system management or operation
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex technical and energy-economic relationships
  • Experience working within national or international technical working groups
  • Experience in managing high-pressure situations and making critical decisions under stress
