Job Summary

As an IT/OT SOC Analyst at TenneT, you will play a critical role in securing the energy transition by co-managing and developing the Security Operation Center for the process information network across Germany. Your daily responsibilities include operating and refining SIEM, anomaly detection, and vulnerability management systems, as well as integrating log sources into a holistic monitoring concept. You will develop dashboards for data analysis, create Mitre-based use cases, and collaborate with telecommunications experts on incident response and security breach analysis. Required Skills

Education

University degree with a focus on Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering; or qualified IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) with several years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience working in a Security Operation Center (SOC) is desirable
  • Experience with SIEM environments (preferably ELK, Grafana, Graylog, or Splunk)
  • Deep technical experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and Active Directory
  • Practical experience in network security, including firewalls and network protocols
  • Experience in programming or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
  • Professional experience in cybersecurity, computer science, or telecommunications engineering
