Job Summary
This role involves joining a high-profile research consortium at Erlangen University Hospital focused on graft-versus-host and graft-versus-leukemia responses following stem cell transplantation. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing high-throughput multi-omics data, including single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and spatial transcriptomics. Your daily work will include developing novel algorithms for cellular interaction visualization, leveraging machine learning to identify diagnostic markers, and creating reproducible bioinformatics workflows for a collaborative network of laboratories. Required Skills
Education
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Informatics in the Natural Sciences, Biostatistics, or a related discipline with intensive training in bioinformatics.
Experience
- Professional experience in high-dimensional data analysis and machine learning
- Experience in the analysis of single-cell sequencing and other omics data types
- Professional experience with Unix/Linux environments and version control systems
- Demonstrated experience in developing computational models and bioinformatics workflows
- Experience in presenting complex findings to interdisciplinary teams and leading scientific publications
