Job Summary

Join a leading translational research center focused on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) as a Doctoral Researcher. You will investigate the unknown cellular and molecular mechanisms behind a novel B cell depletion treatment for IBD, aiming to optimize patient care. Your day-to-day tasks will involve isolating and culturing primary cells, performing flow cytometry, B cell receptor repertoire sequencing, and immunohistochemistry. You will also communicate research findings to your multidisciplinary team and the international scientific community. This position offers structured training within the IZKF program, access to state-of-the-art technologies, and the opportunity to contribute to publication-oriented projects and present your work at international conferences. The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant scientific field, strong analytical skills, and excellent English proficiency.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (or equivalent), preferably in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or immunology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in isolation and culture of primary cells (blood and tissue)
  • Professional experience in flow cytometry
  • Professional experience in B cell receptor repertoire sequencing
  • Professional experience in immunohistochemistry
  • Professional experience in scientific communication and data presentation
