Job Summary

This role is central to the Cloud Operation Hub, serving as a primary digitalization partner for the German Federal Armed Forces. As a SecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and reliably operating highly secure Google Distributed Cloud (GDC-A) environments. Your day-to-day tasks involve implementing architectural adjustments that balance IT security, customer requirements, and architectural guidelines. You will be actively involved in data center deployments, platform setup, and troubleshooting through break-fix operations. Working closely with manufacturers, you will drive the continuous development of the platform to ensure digital sovereignty and resilience. This position is unique for its contribution to national security and the opportunity to work on one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, offering a stable environment with significant public sector impact.
