Job Summary

The Biological Technical Assistant will join the Clinical Cooperation Unit (CCU) 'Applied Tumor Immunity' at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). This role is central to translational research, where you will coordinate the collection and processing of human samples such as blood, tissue, and stool, ensuring strict adherence to ethical and biosafety guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing complex laboratory techniques such as multicolor flow cytometry (FACS), molecular biology (qPCR, DNA/RNA isolation), and cell culture (2D/3D models). You will also be responsible for conducting animal experiments, managing laboratory databases, and supervising junior staff.
