Job Summary

This role at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig focuses on supporting the Department of Cell Toxicology through instrumental analysis. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the technical management of a GC-HRMS system, including performing routine maintenance and repairs. Your daily tasks will involve sample preparation using liquid-liquid extraction, creating stock solutions and calibration standards, and supporting ongoing research projects through data evaluation and quality control. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Gas Chromatography (GC) who enjoys working in an international, interdisciplinary scientific environment.
