Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management of software deployment systems for the Zwickau District Office. As an IT professional in this position, you will be responsible for the conception, planning, implementation, and automation of software distribution processes. Your daily tasks include creating software packages for automated installation of operating systems and standard software, maintaining test environments, and performing IT asset management. Additionally, you will provide hardware support for workstations, including PCs, notebooks, and peripherals. This position is unique as it offers a part-time arrangement (20-27 hours per week) within a public service framework (TVöD-VKA). Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science or a related field; alternatively, a completed 3-year vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration with additional certified expertise in software distribution.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software distribution and client management systems is highly desirable
  • Practical experience in IT system integration and hardware support
  • Experience in creating software packages and automated installation routines
  • Proven ability in target-group oriented communication and organizational management

  • Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle for business purposes are required. Must be willing to participate in the administrative disaster relief staff.
