Job Summary

As the Director of the Office for Roads and Traffic for the Heilbronn District Administration, you will lead a large-scale public infrastructure department comprising approximately 150 employees. Your daily responsibilities involve the strategic management of administrative, operational, and technical divisions, including four road maintenance centers. You will oversee the maintenance and development of roughly 1,000 km of federal, state, and district roads, cycling paths, and engineering structures. A key part of the role involves representing the office in public committees, court proceedings, and negotiations, while driving innovative mobility concepts in line with regional climate goals.
