Job Summary

This role involves joining the Cybercrime Department of the State Criminal Police Office (LKA NRW) to work on a national research project focused on AI-driven data evaluation. As a Research Associate, you will develop AI procedures for searching heterogeneous data and risk classification of multimodal data. Working within an agile environment based on Scrum, you will be responsible for the entire software and AI development lifecycle, from requirements engineering to implementation and support. You will also participate in national and international workshops and evaluate AI systems from a user perspective. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or Diploma) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

  • Experience in drafting scientific reports and requirement specifications
  • Experience with third-party funded research projects is preferred
