Job Summary
This role at the State Criminal Police Office of North Rhine-Westphalia (LKA NRW) focuses on the cutting edge of digital investigation within the Cybercrime Competence Center. As a specialist, you will develop and apply advanced methods for detecting artificially generated multimedia content, such as deepfakes, while training neural networks and AI models on a scientific basis. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent university degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Multimedia Forensics, Media Technology, Communication Sciences, or a related IT-focused field.
Experience
- Professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Multimedia Forensics
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in AI or Data Science is preferred
- Experience with professional photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop, GIMP)
- Experience in programming and technical method development
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams or scientific research environments
