Job Summary
This role involves leading the administrative operations for a newly formed Pastoral Space within the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Münster. As the Head of Administration, you will manage all non-pastoral staff, including secretarial, maintenance, and music personnel, while relieving parish priests of operational administrative burdens. Your daily tasks will include advising church boards on human resources, budgeting, accounting, real estate management, and investment projects. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys shaping new roles and driving organizational change. You will work independently to ensure structured administrative processes while maintaining a solution-oriented team environment. Required Skills
Education
University degree (FH/Bachelor) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification such as the Administrative Training II (Verwaltungslehrgang II) or Diploma in Public Administration (Dipl. Verwaltungswirt/in).
Experience
- Professional experience in financial management, specifically in Cameralistics or New Municipal Financial Management (NKF)
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage diverse teams of non-pastoral staff
- Experience in managing organizational change processes and structural reorganization
- Professional experience in committee work and advising governing boards
- Experience within church administrative structures is highly desirable

Additional
- Identification with the faith, tasks, and goals of the Catholic Church is required. The position is based in Ibbenbüren with a 39-hour work week.
