Job Summary

This role involves leading the administrative operations for the newly formed 'Pastoral Spaces' within the Catholic Diocese of Münster. As the Head of Administration, you will oversee the management of multiple parishes, relieving lead pastors of operational administrative burdens. Your daily responsibilities include managing all non-pastoral staff—such as parish secretaries, church musicians, and facility managers—and advising parish boards on personnel, budgeting, accounting, and real estate matters. Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH/Bachelor) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (e.g., Higher Administrative Service, Administrative Course II, or Diploma in Public Administration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of finance, specifically in Cameralistics or New Municipal Finance (NKF)
  • Proven leadership experience and competence in managing diverse teams
  • Experience in managing organizational change processes
  • Experience in committee work and navigating complex organizational structures
  • Professional background in church administrative structures is highly desirable
