Join the Institute of Technical Chemistry at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, a leading institution in raw material chemistry, as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher. This part-time position (20 hours/week) is available until December 2027 within a third-party funded project focusing on the "Hy2Cycle" initiative. You will contribute to cutting-edge research on fundamental material recovery from electrolyzer and fuel cell components for hydrogen production, aiming to integrate recycling processes into the design of these systems from the outset. Your work will involve developing comprehensive recycling methods, including the treatment of pyrolysis products, fluorine-containing components (PFAS), and valuable metals from catalysts, with both technical and economic objectives. This role offers an excellent opportunity for scientific qualification towards a doctorate in a project with strong industrial relevance within a family-friendly university environment.
