Job Summary

This role involves working as a dedicated technician within the Central Cleanroom Laboratory at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, focusing on research related to the energy transition, new materials, and semiconductors. The core responsibilities include executing and developing processes for thin-film deposition and structuring, conducting wet-chemical processes, ensuring meticulous process control, documentation, and performing essential maintenance on cleanroom equipment. The ideal candidate will have completed vocational training, preferably as a Microtechnologist or a Physical/Chemical-Technical Assistant, and possess practical experience in thin-film and wet-chemical processing, ideally within semiconductor production or research. This position is initially fixed-term for two years with the potential for permanent employment, offering a varied and responsible role in a cutting-edge research environment.
