Job Summary

As a Regional Commercial Project Manager, you will be the financial backbone for building automation projects across the Southwest region of Germany. Operating out of Freiburg, you will manage the commercial lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring profitability through proactive budget planning, forecasting, and continuous controlling of revenue, costs, and margins. You will serve as a vital link between central controlling and decentralized branches, overseeing monthly reporting, annual financial statements, and the development of the commercial project team. Beyond numbers, you will handle contract management, negotiate subcontractor services, and support regional leadership in operational matters like occupational safety. This role is ideal for a commercially-minded professional who enjoys technical environments and wants to influence the economic success of large-scale building technology projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial vocational training qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in controlling and commercial project management.
  • Proven experience within the construction industry or electrical engineering environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of German construction contract law (VOB and BGB).
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and liquid assets.
  • Experience in leading or developing commercial project teams.
