Job Summary
As the Head of Data Analytics & Insights, you will drive Siemens Healthineers' data analytics strategy, focusing on extracting valuable insights to gain competitive advantages. Your role involves identifying new opportunities for data analysis, implementing predictive and prescriptive analytics, and overseeing the current portfolio of tools like Power BI and Qlik Cloud. You will foster a self-service BI culture, integrate data analytics with AI technologies, and ensure the growth of data analytics communities and competencies within the organization. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage a global team of service owners, data analysts, and BI experts, anchoring data-driven decision-making across business processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data analytics, leadership, and a deep understanding of AI and database technologies.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, or a comparable field. Extensive professional experience and additional qualifications in the field may substitute for a degree.
Experience
- Many years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a functional and disciplinary leadership or management position
- Proven track record in driving business impact through data analysis and insight generation
- Extensive experience with BI and data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Cloud)
- Deep understanding and practical experience with Machine Learning and AI technologies (e.g., Python, Azure AI, Agentic AI)
- Proficiency in database technologies, data ingestion, and data processing
- Understanding of enterprise architecture mindset and governance, with experience in solution architecture for data analytics
- Several years of IT experience in international, cross-functional teams
