Job Summary
As an SAP RE-FX Application Consultant for the City of Stuttgart's SAP Competence Center, you will play a pivotal role in managing and advancing the city's real estate management software landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the active design and continuous development of the SAP RE-FX module, alongside managing CAFM system components. You will handle second-level support, error analysis, and the administration of user roles to ensure high-quality system performance. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a bridge between technology and people by conducting user workshops, creating comprehensive documentation, and advising various municipal departments. Required Skills
Education
University degree in IT or a comparable technical field; or completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist) with relevant experience; or qualified as a civil servant in the higher information technology service.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience if applying with a vocational IT qualification
- Professional experience in SAP module support or development, ideally within RE-FX
- Experience in analytical and structured problem-solving within an IT environment
- Experience in the municipal or public sector is desirable but not mandatory
Languages
Additional
- Recognition of foreign qualifications by German authorities is required for non-German degrees. Sworn translations of non-German certificates must be provided. Position is based in Stuttgart with eligibility for mobile work/home office.
