Job Summary

Join the Freiburger Verkehrs AG team as an Electronics Technician, playing a vital role in maintaining the Schauinslandbahn, Germany's longest circulating cable car. This full-time, permanent position involves comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of cable car and operational facilities, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers ascending to 1220 meters. You will be responsible for continuous system checks, troubleshooting, and maintaining track equipment, alongside performing operational duties and assisting passengers. The role requires working at heights, participating in shift work including weekends and holidays (no night shifts), and contributing to winter services. Ideal candidates will have a completed electronics education, a willingness to undergo further training as a cable car machinist, and possess a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
