Job Summary

This role is central to managing and optimizing the SAP landscape for a major public transport provider in Freiburg. The SAP Coordinator acts as the primary interface, coordinating the SAP system between business departments, Key Users, internal IT, and external service providers. Day-to-day tasks include managing changes, updates, and releases, handling requirements management, and providing 2nd-level support for system disturbances. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Informatics or Business Administration and several years of experience operating and developing SAP systems, ideally S/4HANA. Key requirements include expertise in at least one core SAP module (FI/CO, MM, SD, or HCM), strong communication skills for mediating between technical and business teams, and experience in managing small SAP projects and vendor monitoring. Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of experience in the operation and further development of SAP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA)
  • Experience in user support and coordination of key users and external service providers
  • Experience in managing smaller SAP projects and rollouts
  • Knowledge in Authorization and Role Management
  • Experience with Change Management in the SAP environment (Advantageous)
