Job Summary

This role involves the implementation and evolution of high-power technology products, including broadcast systems, broadband amplifiers, and HF transmitters. As an Embedded Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and new development of FPGA-based SoC real-time systems. Your daily activities will include designing, simulating, and implementing FPGA logic using VHDL or Verilog, alongside developing embedded software for soft/hardcore processors under Linux or bare-metal environments. You will work within interdisciplinary teams to analyze requirements, optimize hardware/software co-designs, and verify functionality through continuous simulation and hardware validation. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to modernize legacy code using refactoring and state-of-the-art AI tools. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in FPGA design development using VHDL or Verilog
  • Proven experience in the design-flow of SoC projects and FPGA technologies
  • Professional experience in embedded software development using modern, object-oriented C++ in a Linux environment
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
  • Initial experience with C++ unit test frameworks and debugging tools is required
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, and Robot Framework is considered a plus
