This role is part of the 'LogChain' project at TU Dresden, focusing on the implementation of blockchain technology to digitize and secure timber logistics process chains. As a Research Associate, you will analyze workflows from the standing tree to the factory gate, developing practical concepts for the logical traceability of wood products. Your daily work involves linking real-world harvesting and machine data with satellite data for precise documentation of forestry transactions. You will also conduct field trials and evaluate the efficiency and ecology of digital logistics chains. This position is ideal for those passionate about the intersection of nature, technology, and digitalization. It offers the chance to act as a bridge between research and practical forestry, collaborating closely with forest enterprises and machine manufacturers.
