Job Summary

As the Head of the Renewable Energy Division at Bayerische Staatsforsten, you will lead the strategic expansion of green energy projects across one of Europe’s largest forest management organizations. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading a dedicated team, developing innovative business models for wind and photovoltaic energy, and overseeing operational workflows such as selection processes and project monitoring. You will serve as the primary expert contact for renewable energy topics, monitoring market trends in the electricity sector and maintaining vital relationships with external partners and state authorities. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forest Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, implementation, and operation of renewable energy projects, specifically in wind energy
  • Extensive experience in developing and conceptualizing business models within the renewable energy sector
  • Proven experience collaborating with high-level state authorities and government agencies
  • Strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and closing within the energy industry
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and overseeing divisional workflows
