Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Building Technology, you will lead complex projects from technical clarification through to final acceptance, with a specific focus on Smart Building integration. Your daily responsibilities include managing building automation, telecommunications, and power systems, ensuring that budget, quality, and deadlines are strictly met. You will serve as the central point of contact for clients and lead commissioning teams and subcontractors on-site. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to support the sales team during the bidding phase with your technical expertise. The position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical oversight and commercial project controlling. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, Supply Engineering, Building Automation, MSR Technology, or a similar field. Alternatively, a vocational qualification with further training as a Master (Meister) or Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in building automation or security technology
  • Initial relevant experience following a technical degree, or several years of professional experience if holding a Master Craftsman/Technician qualification
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with relevant industry norms (VDE, VDI)
  • Experience in technical team leadership and subcontractor management
  • Experience in project calculation and commercial controlling
