Job Summary

This role involves supporting telecommunications surveillance (TKÜ) within the Operative Deployment and Investigation Support department of a federal authority. You will be responsible for the administration and setup of complex, secure network infrastructures, including the configuration of firewalls, fail-safe networks, and virtualization environments. Day-to-day tasks include automating infrastructure using scripting tools, analyzing network data streams, and developing methods for information technology surveillance. The position is highly dynamic, requiring participation in on-call rotations and occasional domestic travel for operational deployments. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science (Bachelor/Diploma) or a comparable STEM degree with an IT focus. Alternatively, a completed vocational IT training with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the construction and operation of network infrastructures
  • Practical experience in Linux system administration
  • Experience with virtualization and container technologies
  • 3 years of professional IT experience required if applying with a vocational qualification and a relevant IT focus
  • 6 years of professional IT experience required if applying with a general vocational qualification

Additional
