Job Summary

As an IT Service Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on technical support and infrastructure management for a leading international IT service provider. Your daily activities will include hardware installations, configurations, and repairs within 1st and 2nd level support environments. You will manage rollouts, lead small installation teams, and handle the physical connection of client and server units alongside peripheral devices. A significant portion of the role involves IMAC/D services (Install, Move, Add, Change, and De-install), onsite swaps, and IP address configuration. Beyond technical tasks, you will maintain asset data, update knowledge bases, and provide high-quality call documentation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT or equivalent practical experience; current manufacturer certifications are preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the IT industry or a completed vocational training program
  • Practical experience in 2nd level support or current manufacturer certifications
  • Experience working with ticket systems or similar documentation workflows
  • Proven experience in hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience leading small installation teams or managing rollouts
