As a Biological Technical Assistant at the Thünen Institute of Fisheries Ecology, you will play a vital role in supporting aquaculture research in Bremerhaven. Your daily responsibilities include conducting electrochemical and photometric water analyses, managing the water laboratory, and maintaining aquaculture recirculation systems. A significant part of the role involves establishing cultivation methods for marine invertebrates such as snails and mussels, as well as algae. Beyond laboratory and cultivation work, you will handle administrative tasks including order processing, invoice management, and data entry.
