Job Summary
As a Senior IT Service Technician, you will provide critical onsite 1st and 2nd level support for a prestigious international law firm in downtown Munich. Your daily responsibilities include managing end-user support for a wide range of hardware, including PCs, notebooks, tablets, printers, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). You will be the go-to expert for software support involving Windows 10 and MS Office, while also handling the setup and troubleshooting of video conferencing systems like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical challenge and user interaction. The position offers a stable work environment with flat hierarchies, regular working hours, and the opportunity for permanent takeover after an initial period. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT Systems Integration Specialist, Information Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification/professional background in IT.
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT sector or completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist, System Electronics Technician)
- Extensive experience with hardware maintenance and current Microsoft operating systems
- Practical experience using IT ticketing systems for incident management
- Experience in onsite end-user support and technical instruction
- Experience with network connectivity and peripheral device integration
