This role involves working on the 'VollWind' project at the University of Rostock, specifically focusing on high-efficiency converters for wind energy systems. As a Research Associate, you will conduct research on converter concepts within the multi-megawatt power range and perform both experimental and simulative investigations of novel power semiconductors with blocking voltages exceeding 2kV. Your daily responsibilities include developing electronic assemblies and presenting research findings to project partners. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master, Diploma, or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, preferably with excellent grades.

Experience

  • Professional experience in power electronics or electrical engineering
  • Practical experience with power semiconductors or analog and digital circuit technology preferred
  • Experience in conducting simulations and experimental laboratory work
  • Experience in presenting and discussing technical results with partners
