This role involves conducting advanced research at the University of Rostock within the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, specifically focusing on short-circuit protection for high-performance SiC-MOSFETs. As a Research Associate, you will work on the 'High-efficiency power semiconductors for PV and wind energy systems' project, exploring converter technology for SiC power semiconductors with blocking voltages exceeding 2kV. Your daily responsibilities include developing electronic components for MOSFET protection and presenting research findings to project partners. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Practical experience in the development of analog or digital electronic assemblies
  • Experience in handling power semiconductors is preferred
  • Experience in academic research and presentation of technical results
