Job Summary

This part-time (approx. 26 hours/week) doctoral position at Ruhr University Bochum offers a unique opportunity to conduct advanced research into the development, degeneration, and regeneration of central nervous system neurons. The successful candidate will focus on the hippocampus and investigate interactions between tumor cells and neuronal cells within tissue cultures, with a specific emphasis on the Reelin protein's function in physiological and pathological states. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent preparation and execution of experiments, data interpretation, and the publication of research findings in English-language scientific journals.
