Job Summary

As a Vehicle Cyber Security Development Engineer at Daimler Buses, you will play a critical role in securing the future of public and travel transport. Operating within an international Electrical/Electronic development team, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of vehicle cybersecurity. Your daily tasks involve performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA), developing security architectures for ECUs and systems, and defining technical measures to mitigate risks in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434 and UN ECE R155 standards. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, guide developers, and organize penetration tests at various levels. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the Automotive Electrical/Electronic environment
  • Professional experience in the development and testing of ECU software
  • Practical experience in the field of Vehicle Cyber Security
  • Experience with cybersecurity standards and process-compliant automotive software development
  • Experience working in agile environments such as SCRUM or SAFe
