Job Summary

As a Development Engineer at Daimler Buses in Neu-Ulm, you will take a technical lead role in implementing and maintaining Functional Safety (FuSi) standards for vehicle lighting and driver authorization systems. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Certification in IEC 61508 is an advantage.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Functional Safety, ideally as a Development Engineer or Software Developer within an OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment
  • Extensive experience with development processes and software development standards according to A-SPICE
  • Proven experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary and international project teams
  • Practical experience using engineering tools such as Medini Analyze, DOORS, and IQ-FMEA
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and requirements documents
