Job Summary

As an Environmental Engineer in the After Sales division at Daimler Truck AG, you will serve as a central governance expert for quality and environmental management. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining chemical substance data in ERP systems, ensuring compliance with CLP classifications, and managing hazardous goods transport regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA). You will act as a vital interface between procurement, production, and logistics to clarify substance safety and ensure legal compliance with REACH and GHS standards. Additionally, you will handle manufacturer registrations and reporting for packaging (LUCID), electronic equipment (ElektroG), and batteries. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hazardous substance and dangerous goods law
  • Experience working with ERP systems, specifically SAP EHS
  • Proven experience in project work, with initial project leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in applying environmental standards and regulations within an organization
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration between procurement, production, and logistics
