Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of renewable energy as an Offshore Service Technician in the North Sea. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and inspection of offshore wind turbine generators (WTG) and their foundations. Working within a 14-day on/off rotation model, you will perform electrical and mechanical functional tests, replace components, and document all activities in SAP systems. The position is ideal for technically skilled professionals who prioritize safety and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance and repair, ideally within the wind energy sector
  • Experience in performing measurements and functional tests on electrical and mechanical components
  • Experience working according to manufacturer specifications and quality standards
  • Experience with technical documentation and reporting systems

Languages

German (Basic)English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must have a valid GWO Basic Safety Training certification. Requires a G41 medical examination for working at heights. Must be willing to work a 14/14 offshore rotation schedule. HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) is preferred but optional.
