Job Summary

As the Electrical Facility Manager for the iconic Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the technical maintenance and operation of one of the world's most prestigious cultural landmarks. Your daily responsibilities include the professional and disciplinary leadership of staff, ensuring the fulfillment of service contracts for technical systems, and serving as the primary point of contact for the client regarding technical building management. You will support site operations using CAFM systems and oversee the maintenance of energy and building technology. This role is unique due to its location in a world-renowned architectural masterpiece and offers a highly secure, permanent position with SPIE. The position requires a shift-based schedule (early and late shifts) and demands a high level of service orientation and cost-consciousness to maintain the standards of this high-profile venue.

Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational training as an Electrician, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Installer. Further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a comparable position within facility management or electrical engineering
  • Professional experience in disciplinary and technical leadership of staff
  • Experience in managing technical systems and service contracts
  • Experience in customer relationship management and negotiation
