Job Summary
As a Project Manager for Automation and I&C (Instrumentation and Control) at SPIE Energy Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the 'Go Green!' initiative, focusing on decarbonization and energy efficiency projects. Your daily responsibilities involve developing and planning automation solutions for complex properties and industrial sites, calculating costs for electrical and automation components, and managing customer projects from inception through commissioning. You will oversee subcontractors, monitor construction progress, and ensure budget compliance while serving as the primary interface for clients. This position is unique for its focus on cutting-edge energy transition technologies, including geothermal, biomass, and biogas plants. You will also contribute to the advancement of IoT, Industry 4.0, and energy management solutions. The role offers a secure, permanent contract with significant benefits, including up to 35 days of vacation and flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the field of automation, electrical engineering, or I&C technology
- In-depth experience in programming control and process management systems
- Practical experience in the commissioning of plant technology
- Proven experience in project management and coordinating with internal and external partners
- Experience in developing energy efficiency or decarbonization concepts
Languages

- The position is based in Stuttgart-Möhringen. Requires the ability to manage subcontractors and oversee construction progress on-site.
