As an Analytical Scientist specializing in Quantitative Mass Spectrometry, you will serve as the analytical backbone for quantifying diagnostically relevant parameters at Roche. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve applying complex mass spectrometric Reference Measurement Methods (RMPs) and performing precise quantification of analytes to ensure patients worldwide receive reliable results. You will actively support the development and validation of new RMPs, optimize existing procedures, and develop sample preparation techniques such as Solid Phase Extraction (SPE). Working within a collaborative R&D environment, you will handle potentially infectious materials responsibly, maintain high quality standards through SOP documentation, and perform software-based data evaluation.
