Job Summary

This role involves working within the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) to provide operational support for criminal investigations through advanced IT forensics. You will be responsible for developing and refining methods for live forensics and decryption, performing on-site digital evidence preservation, and handling complex decryption cases. The position requires a high degree of technical expertise to evaluate emerging technologies and their impact on police work, alongside providing expert testimony in court. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master, Magister, or Diploma) in Computer Science or a comparable STEM field with an IT focus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software development and programming
  • Experience in IT security, incident response, or vulnerability analysis
  • Experience with system-level computer technology and operating systems
  • Practical experience in IT forensics is preferred
