You will independently process building applications, preliminary inquiries, and exemption requests from both planning and building law perspectives, which includes reviewing structural fire protection. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Engineering or Architecture; eligibility for the second entry level of career group 2 in technical services (German 'Laufbahnbefähigung').

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as an Engineer or Architect
  • Experience in public administration is preferred
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to make and communicate difficult decisions
  • Experience in processing building permits and technical building law applications
  • Experience with electronic file management systems is desirable
