This role involves the crucial task of digitizing geographic data and managing associated attributes and metadata for various thematic areas, including development plans, nature conservation areas, and hunting districts. A core responsibility is performing georeferencing of plans using geobase data. The specialist will also provide essential support and training to end-users on the utilization of Geoinformation Software (GIS) programs like TerraWeb and QGIS. Candidates should possess a relevant vocational or commercial qualification, strong IT skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital graphics editing tools such as GIMP or Inkscape. While prior GIS experience is beneficial, the willingness to learn and a careful, precise working style are paramount. This is a part-time, fixed-term position offering a stable environment within the public sector, focusing on digital transformation and work-life balance.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte), completed Employee Course I (Angestelltenlehrgang I), or a three-year commercial vocational training. Alternatively, completed vocational training with an IT focus.

Experience
