Job Summary
This permanent leadership role involves managing the Central Services department within the Building Law Office for the City of Stuttgart. You will oversee a team of approximately ten employees, providing both disciplinary and technical supervision. Day-to-day responsibilities include clarifying fundamental administrative matters, developing professional guidelines for process and quality management, and handling complex personnel management issues. You will also ensure the responsible management of budget funds and coordinate strategic projects, such as the digital transformation of the building archives. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Management, Diploma in Public Administration (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/-in), or Administrative Specialist qualification (Verwaltungsfachwirt/-in / Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- Professional experience in personnel administration and organizational management within the public sector
- Leadership experience or proven leadership competence with a high sense of responsibility
- Extensive knowledge of German labor, collective bargaining, and civil service law
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight
- Experience in planning and implementing time-limited projects, specifically in digitalization
