Job Summary
This role involves providing essential IT support for the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of mobile devices, specifically Apple products (iPhones and iPads), including initial user training and configuration. As a key member of the IT Help Desk, you will handle 1st and 2nd level support requests, managing tickets from initial classification through to resolution via remote maintenance or on-site assistance. Additionally, you will manage mobile device management (MDM) systems using Blackberry UEM and oversee the inventory of hardware equipment. This position is ideal for those who enjoy technical problem-solving and direct user interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration, or a comparable qualification/long-term professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the maintenance and operation of IT workstations and mobile devices
- Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support
- Experience with Apple products (iPhone, iPad) and iOS software
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, specifically Blackberry UEM
- Experience in a Help Desk environment including ticket classification and troubleshooting

Additional
- Must meet the career law requirements for the second entry office of career group 1 of the general administrative service (for civil servants). Applicants must provide a tabular CV and relevant work certificates/diplomas in German.
