This role involves the coordination of publications and events for the Berlin State Agency for Civic Education. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will manage and design event spaces at 'Amerika Haus' and 'Ostkreuz', prepare and evaluate civic education programs for diverse target groups, and oversee visitor center operations. Key responsibilities include planning catering, managing staff schedules for visitor services, coordinating publication distribution, and representing the agency at trade fairs and public exhibitions. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), or equivalent qualifications such as the Administrative Course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I). For civil servants: meeting the career law requirements for the second entry level of career group 1 in general administrative service.

Experience

  • At least 6 months of professional experience in event management within a public administration setting, acquired within the last 3 years.
  • Professional experience in service-oriented administrative work.
  • Experience in coordinating visitor services or public-facing facilities.
  • Proven track record in organizing, executing, and evaluating events for various target groups.
