Job Summary

As an IT Service Manager for SaaS, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling the internal software-as-a-service landscape for BwBM, the organization responsible for the German Armed Forces' clothing supply chain. Operating from the Cologne headquarters, you will manage the technical and organizational aspects of SaaS services, ensuring high availability, quality, and security. Your daily responsibilities include developing service strategies, monitoring SLAs, and acting as a critical interface between internal departments, IT architecture, and external service providers. This role is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to actively shape a growing team—set to expand from 8 to 20 members by 2028—within a crisis-proof, federally-linked company. You will balance hands-on technical oversight with strategic vendor management to ensure the long-term stability of the company's digital infrastructure.
